Windsurfing & Kiteboarding
The Penwith area surrounding Penzance has some of the best windsurfing conditions in Europe. West Cornwall offers waves and winds which conspire to produce some of the most amazing windsurfing conditions in Europe. In addition to Mount’s Bay now having some of the cleanest bathing waters around the country, both venues offer a natural combination of ocean swell and favourable winds.

‘The aim of the PKSA (Penwith Kite Surfing Association) is to maintain a high level of kitesurfing responsibility on the Cornish beaches. Now in its 6th year kitesurfing is one of the newest extreme sports to hit our beaches.
You'll see us jumping to great heights reforming amazing freestyle manoeuvres and covering great distances, literally flying over the waves or using them as ramps, then coming in on the surf using a kite as a power supply which is fuelled by air causing no pollution.
As is with any sport rules must be applied and that's what the PKSA endeavour to do provide codes of conduct, risk assessments and inform high/low tide. We keep all of our members up to date on all issues that arise and comments from locals.’
On the website there is information on lessons, which beaches to ride in Cornwall, Health and safety and contact details.
