Weddings at the Cove

The Cove is the perfect location for an intimate wedding. In the past we have found the best thing to do is to talk to the bride and groom and find out exactly what they are looking for; we are very flexible and will do our very best to cater to your needs and requests.

We hold a license for civil service ceremonies, so it is possible to have the wedding ceremony as well as the wedding reception at The Cove. We have four licensed spaces; three smaller locations for 10 – 15 people and the restaurant that has a maximum capacity of 40 people. To hold a civil ceremony at The Cove the charge is £1000.

During peak times of year, so that we do not inconvenience other guests and also to ensure your day has maximum privacy, we recommend that the entire hotel is booked for wedding functions. Please note that during July and August we have a minimum stay of one week. Also, during the weekends of June and September, we have a minimum stay of two nights.

During off-peak periods there is a one off fee of £600 for the hire of the venue. Detailed information on the apartments, prices and details peak & off-peak times of year are listed on the tariff page of our website.

Enjoy a champagne & canapé reception on the terrace, followed by a sit down meal either in the restaurant or eat alfresco by the pool. Alternatively, for smaller groups why not have an intimate reception in one of our private terraced apartments; a private location for you and your guests to enjoy the fantastic view of the Cornish coastline.

The restaurant has seating for approximately 40 people or alfresco dining for a buffet of approximately 80 people. Meal prices are per head; this will include canapés, starter, main course and dessert (Sample Menu), we have an excellent selection of wines and champagnes to choose from.

Entertainment; we can recommend a number of local musicians, bands or DJs that can provide the evenings entertainment.
