The Minack Theatre is an open-air theatre, constructed above a gully with a rocky granite outcrop jutting into the sea (minack in Cornish means a stony or rocky place). The theatre is located near Porthcurno, 4 miles from Land's End in Cornwall.

The Minack is a great place to visit all year round...

The Minack Theatre was the inspiration and life’s work of one remarkable woman, Rowena Cade.

Since 1998 our sub-tropical rockeries have become a must for gardeners with a taste for the exotic. The ideas and plant selection are based on the cliff garden developed here by Rowena Cade in the 1930s.

Spend an afternoon at the picturesque Minack Theater, perched on the scenic cliff of Porthcurno. With the back drop of the glistening sea by day and the starry sky by night, we can make you a luxury hamper complete with fresh lobster and Champagne to bring along!
