Ice Skating at The Cove

An unforgettable evening of al fresco ice-skating and festive fun awaits in Lamorna Cove this Christmas, as the magical setting of The Cove is transformed into a winter wonderland complete with ice rink (artificial surface), twinkling Christmas lights and a magnificent, elegantly decorated tree. With the stunning backdrop of Lamorna Cove and the rolling waves of the sea.

From 24 November – 5 January The Cove will be home to a 100m2 ice rink, open both to hotel guests and the general public. Work up an appetite on the ice before warming up with a delicious hot chocolate or mulled wine and retiring to The Cove’s restaurant, complete with wood burning fire and carol singers: the perfect place to thaw out cold feet and tantalise the taste buds.

Ice skating will cost £10 per adult (or £6 per child under 10 years) for a one hour session, including skate hire. There is also a half hour session, which costs £5 for adults and £3 for children (under 10 years). Sessions must be booked in advance by telephoning 01736731411 or emailing reception@thecovecornwall.com and is subject to availability. Skating is free to guests staying at The Cove and to diners booking a table of 10 or more at The Cove’s restaurant.
