Massage
Shiatsu
Shiatsu literally means ‘finger pressure massage’ gentle pressure is applied to points along the meridians to release blocked energy and stimulate blood flow. Valerie Stagg has a Diploma in Shiatsu massage and is also an independent Reiki teacher/master.
Reiki
Reiki is an ancient healing art, consisting of laying the hands on energy centres directly on or slightly above the body.
Holistic
Holistic Massage will relax and tone your muscles, assist the venous flow of your blood, encourage your lymphatic flow, strengthen your digestive, nervous and immune system, and stretch the connective tissue of your joints. Kerstin is fully qualified in Holistic Massage, specialising in Reflexology and Indian Head Massage.
Indian Head Massage
Firm and gentle strokes and rhythms are used to help un-knot blockages and relieve the uncomfortable build-up of tension.
Reflexology
The practice of working on the feet and sometimes hands by massaging, squeezing, or pushing with the aim to encourage a beneficial effect on other parts of the body, or to improve general health.
Hot Stone Massage
Stone layout is along both sides of the spine, the heat from the stones relaxes muscles and increases the blood flow to the area being worked on. The therapist massages the body with oiled, heated stones held in the palm of the hand with firm strokes along the muscles of the legs, arms, and torso areas.
Rejuvanessence
This is a rejuvenating facial therapy, sometimes known as the 'Fingertip Face Lift', a precise massage of the 91 muscles of the face, neck, skull and shoulders, combined with stimulation of the facial connective tissue to make it more elastic and flexible. 5 session course £225 "facial refresher" session £45.
